5. No Service Level Agreement (SLA)
This Service is provided free of charge and without any Service Level Agreement (SLA). There are no guarantees regarding uptime, performance, support response times, or data availability.
6. Service Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, services, or access at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violations of these Terms or operational requirements.
7. User Responsibilities
Users are solely responsible for all activities and content on their instances. Users must:
– Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
– Ensure systems are properly secured
– Not interfere with platform stability or other users
8. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
– Illegal activities of any kind
– Hacking, scanning, exploitation, or unauthorized access attempts
– Distribution of malware or phishing content
– Spam or unsolicited communications
– Hosting illegal or copyrighted content without authorization
– Torrenting, P2P services, warez distribution
– Pornographic content
– Operating Tor nodes or similar anonymization exit services
Violations may result in immediate and permanent suspension without notice.
9. VPS Usage & Risk Notice
Virtual servers provide full control but also carry responsibility. Users must ensure proper security and monitoring. Misconfiguration may lead to compromise, data loss, or abuse. BoxedTux assumes no responsibility for such incidents.
10. Data & Backups
No backups are provided. Users are solely responsible for maintaining their own backups. Data may be deleted at any time without notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoxedTux shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
12. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless BoxedTux and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from their use of the Service.
13. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
